VICE PRESIDENT

Althea’s extensive history with charitable nonprofit organizations includes a variety of positions. The combination of her purpose and passion together has been a successful recipe for positively impacting the lives of others. Her invaluable experience as a senior consultant, program manager, board member and director of volunteer recruitment serve as a symbol of hope to the poor, neglected and disenfranchised members of society. Althea has been involved in community health, community alliances and outreach for more than twenty five years. Her area of expertise includes strategic planning, diversity and inclusion as well as employee engagement and culture change for non-profits. A number of organization affiliates include The National Office of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Nardly Human Services, Black Catholic Global Outreach, SAYA IHM Summer Camp and Archdiocese of Detroit.
Prior to being named Vice President Althea worked for more than thirty years as a professional in the telecommunications industry for AT&T. She developed a high level of communication and problem resolution skills in this capacity.
Althea attended Wayne State University with a concentration in Labor Studies where she acquired skills in advocacy and negotiation. As a certified life and career coach Althea has packaged her passion for helping people and discovered her purpose; to positively impact the lives of others through her commitment and involvement to community, society and nonprofit organizations.
